How much do you charge per square metre?

We do not quote on a metre rate because we realise every job is different and a metre rate has to be higher on the straightforward jobs to cover the greater costs of the complicated jobs. In other words it doesn't fairly represent the true cost of every different shaped and designed floor. Please request a free no obligation quote.

Can you give me a quote over the phone?

In some cases we can give you an indicative amount but for an accurate quote we need to either see the job or see a plan.

How long does it take for you to quote a job?

Under normal circumstances less than a week. This assumes the plan details are comprehensive and accurate.

How far do you travel?

We have been as far south as Hamilton and Whakatane, and north to Kerikeri.  Ideally we prefer to stay in the area from North Shore to Ruakaka.

Do you do any work for housing companies?

What is a raft, waffle or pod floor?

It is a foundation system that uses polystyrene pods instead of hard fill. A foundation that doesn’t need blocks and footings dug into the ground.

What are the advantages of using a raft system?

It is quicker – fewer trades and inspections required. It is cleaner process – there are no footings to be dug. It is less expensive than traditional foundation systems – its a simpler process with fewer trades involved. The polystyrene works to help insulate the house. It has ribs between of steel and concrete which helps stiffen the floor and make it more able to bridge soft spots in the ground.
